It has been announced that Amazon will be changing the operating system on future firesticks away from Android to their own proprietary OS called Vega OS. They are doing this in order to stop piracy and eliminate the ability to sideload Android apps such as the apps that we all use daily to access our service, including the Downloader app required to sideload customized IPTV apps. The solution to this situation is simple enough though. I fully recommend Walmart’s Onn 4K box as not only a viable replacement to a firestick, but also because they are so much faster to use, run on Android, and offers a beautiful interface. Even the remote is a major improvement over firesticks. I highly suggest that you look into this as an option moving forward!
